Position Description

The General Manager (GM) is an amazing opportunity for a multiplying leaders to catapult their career and earning potential to the next level. The leader that takes on this role is the primary ambassador of the Taco Mama brand for their restaurant. The GM helps to create a festive environment for team members and guests by leading with authenticity.

 

Position Objective

The goal of the General Manager (GM) is to be a dynamic leader of him/herself, their team, and provide an unmatched culinary experience for our guests. This person must love possess a genuine love for people, great food, and have a passion to develop others. The GM must have high standards for themselves, their team, service, food quality, cost controls, and the overall operation of the restaurant. The GM is responsible for the overall profitability of the restaurant, the overall satisfaction of guests, and the overall satisfaction of all team members.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coaches staff to be positive, energetic, and friendly to all guests.
  • Clearly communicates to staff and ensures that every shift is prepared for success.
  • Ensures all procedures are properly followed to ensure the safety of guests and team members, as well as the life of all equipment.
  • Ensures that the quality of food and service is consistently greater than expected.
  • Responsible for ordering all food, drinks, and supplies.
  • Recruits, hires, and retains amazing team members for all roles of the restaurant.
Experience
4 Year College Degree preferred, not required.
4 Years of Food & Beverage/Hospitality experience is required.
Passion to serve, develop, train, and lead others!
 
 
Compensation
Starting Salary: $50k + Bonus Potential
PTO - 10 Days Vacation + Major Holidays
Travel - Less than 25%
